Miracles can happen! The smallest children should from now on find shelter only in a family environment.
The Czech Republic is one of the last countries in the European Union where abandoned or vulnerable children under the age of three could still be placed in infant care facilities.
According to today's decision of the Parliament, this practice should end by the end of 2024 when institutional care will be fully replaced by temporary foster care.
