Six children have died in the Czech Republic since the beginning of the year as a result of family violence. So far, there has been no adequate mechanism that can evaluate this situation and take measures to prevent similar tragedies in the future. Equally, therapy for children who may not have experienced violence but witnessed it - silent victims, as the therapists call them - is desperately lacking. Some children have to wait several years before seeing a specialist.

Thanks to a significant donation from the company CPT Invest in the amount of 8.7 million crowns, we will be able to launch the project Childhood without Violence in collaboration with the Locika Centre in Prague. The project is unique both in its extent and impact and means that, in addition to Prague, children and families traumatized by violence will be provided therapeutic care in three other regions.
