Our founder Tereza Maxová was awarded for the Foundation's contribution in the field of the child protection at the ISPCAN 2018 Prague International Congress on the Prevention of Violence against Children and Neglect.

"I see it as a recognition for all who help children at risk. For over 22 years, the foundation has distributed over 350 million crowns and helped thousands of children, " says Tereza Maxová.

The Czech Republic is one of the last countries in Europe where children under three years of age can be placed in institutional infant care. In general, we have the highest number of kids growing up in the institutional care, totaling over six and half thousand. According to experts, these children should be raised in family environment. This problem was among topics discussed at this year's ISPCAN conference held in Prague.
