Accenture fundraiser

Added 12. 1. 2015

We would like to thank employees of the Accenture company for their generous support. The Christmas fundraiser has brought an amazing amount of CZK 91,600. The whole amount will support young disadvantaged people in their development. Financial support will help covering the school fees, training costs, costs of getting a driving license etc. All this means better opportunities in the job market. Among the supported young people is Patrik, who grew up in the Písek care home. Patrik writes: "Thanks to financial support from Accenture, I started my studies at the TRIVIS high school in September. I like the school and I want it to continue. I appreciate the help from the Accenture company. My goal is to become a fireman, a job I will be able to get if I graduate from high school. I would very much appreciate if the support for my studies could continue. Since I am a very active person and the school focuses on physical training for a future job, I enjoy it a lot. I enjoy law lectures and I look forward to criminology classes next year. For three years now, I have dedicated my past time to training on indoor climbing walls. Last year I’ve completed a course to become an instructor. Since September this year, I work as an instructor in the climbing club for children aged 10-15. Once again, thank you very much for your support. "

Škoda Rapid Spaceback presents: „Fashion for kids 2013“ INSIGHT

Added 19. 11. 2013

On Monday, November 18th, the Prague Municipal House hosted the 9th annual charity fashion show of the Tereza Maxova Foundation - Škoda Rapid Spaceback presents: „Fashion for kids 2013.“ The past shows, Fashion for kids, have helped the children raising a total amount of CZK 37.000.000 which was once again increased by more than CZK 8 million. This year, the subtitle of the show was “Insight” which can be seen from two points of view – first as an insight into the daily issues of the disadvantaged and abandoned children who have been cared for by the Foundation for more than seventeen years and second as an insight into the child’s soul its feelings, dreams, and wishes. It is surely a diverse range of bits and pieces composed of experiences, stories, and emotions which will always leave a mark. What links all these fates together is understanding the children’s soul and fulfilling their wishes or dreams whether it is in a form of a return home to their parents, an individual approach to solve a problem, talent development, newly begun studies, or even starting a new job. There were many artists like the musical group joined by the children from the children’s homes, a group Eddie Stoilow and others, who were performing during the charity event, which once again, took place in the Prague Municipal House. Guests could also admire the fashion collection called “The best of Czech fashion designers” which was hand-picked by the fashion team of VOGUE lead by its editor in chief, Mrs. Franca Sozzani. The Tereza Maxová Foundation would like to kindly thank all the partners of the fashion show: Škoda Auto, Accenture Central Europe, ING Bank, the Foundation Agrofert Holding, Citi Foundation, Galileo Czech and Slovak Republic, Oriflame, DSA, web portal, Máma a já (Mom and I), Universal Channel, Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague, the Municipal House, Zátiší Group, Bohemia Sekt.
